When I was selling a software solution to manufacturers I always ran into the integration question and it would stop the sale cold. No one wanted to add another standalone solution – even if it worked well.

Thankfully our developers created some integrations for two different ERP and I was able to concentrate on those markets, but it was still very limiting and I knew my room for growth was small. Meanwhile we still had people reaching out to us from other markets asking about the product and I would have to tell them it did not work with their business systems.
